I know i read this somewhere about using a certain year/model tacoma plugs for supras and that they were just as good, if not better than the supra plugs. I can't for the life of me find where this info is at. I've been searching for 3 goddamn days.

The car is just a stock 89 turbo. Has it been decided that tacoma plugs were to not be used and i never got the memo? Let me know! Toyota only had 3 plugs in stock for the supra which does me no good.

ps - if you want to throw in a bit really quickly about intermittent cruise control then feel free. i did a quick search on that and some people may suggest its the wiring under the dash? I dunno, but it works when it wants to and it's really damn obnoxious.

good lookin out guys.

I haven't found another O.E. plug that crosses w/ the 7M-GTE. Needless to say, that's probably why they only had 3.

ehh I doubt it.

and why?

The reason I say. The "Spark Plug Wire" Side is shorter on most toyota motors designed after the 7M. (The JZ Being One Of Them)

So kill this idea bud!

Toyota Plugs = Rebadged Denso's and NGK's (If Plat)

Just Go to your local parts store and ask for Denso or NGK's. :)

I went with NGK iridium spark plugs with MSD wires myself and I got them from autozone and Titan. Funny part is with the iridium plugs when i turn the car off and turn it back to ACC the car sometimes doesnt shut off even if i have waited for 1 to 2 sec... i have to say i really like the NGK iridiums.
