What is the best way to hook up a tac sensor wire in the MKIII for an aftermarket tac?? Is there a wire under the wheel or should I just hook it up to one of the coil wires?? If so wut one?? I did a quick search but dident find it, THX -Eric

A while ago I was trying to hook up a sunpro guage into my car, but it turned out that I needed some sort of harness or connecting wires in order to use it so i gave up. What kind of tach do you have and did you get any directions?
no, I know how to hook up tacs its very basic, one wire to switched 12V, one to constant, one to ground and green to tac sensor usually you always hook it to the negitive side of the coil but on our cars we have 3 coils so I guess your suppose to hook it to the tac wire that goes in our harness but I dunno the location of it exactly and the color
ok, well if you figure it out please tell me... I tried all the wires around the coil packs and before and after the ignitor.

What tubbie said. Or use the connection in the check connector. All this is assuming you're talking about a tach without it's own sensor.
I dont know what year your supra is, but here is a layout with the speed sensor's location for an 89 harness. It might even be the same for pre-89.
