my tach worked (thanks to Aaron) when I was running the stock ECU w/ EMB. When I swapped to Stinger, the tach no longer worked.
Today, I ran a jumper from the #1 lead (thick black wire) of the 4 position plug on the ignitor straight to the rpm wire on the tach lead on the back side of the gauges. Nothing. I thought that the stock wire might be grounded between the ignitor & the gauge connector socket, so I snipped it & wired in the jumper directly to the socket, still nothing. I checked the tach ground, perfect.
The stinger is picking up the signal, but I can't get the tach to. Any ideas?
