Tach isn't working, need assistance.

Sunday we finished up the wiring on the inside of my car, checked and double checked connections. I bought a used turbo cluster from someone (origionally my car was NA) and put that in. I started the car up and.....no tach, no lights on the guage (even with lights on). The wiring is spot onto the diagrams on www.1jz-gte.us. The car in question is an 89 so i checked the early and late diagrams, both are going to the same pins for the tach. I even tried my NA cluster and still no lights.

Anyone got any ideas?

check fuses? I had the same problem... when I used the turbo gauge cluster... I don't know

But what I did was go back to the stock cluster and use the tach that came out of the 1jz clip...

hope some one knows the answer to it...

i dont have the 1jz cluster got a motorset instead of a clip.

going now to do so, my friend confirmed the wiring on his swap.

ok, just swapped it with the radio fuse, no use. im going to check my grounds, make sure they aren't doing this.

been at work and school all day. ill be home ~ 5pm EST. then the fun starts. both me and my friend are thinking its the dash ground because every other interior light works.
