We are pleased to announce a new addition to this years Supras Invade Las Vegas event - the TDSC.

What is the TDSC?

The TDSC is the "Top Dawg Supra Challenge" and is a new level of competition to showcase the best of the best Supras. Points will be tallied from the Dyno Challenge, Drag Showdown, and the Show-and-Shine to determine the winner of the TDSC. We will present awards for first, second, and third places.

We are still working on the details for this competition and will have more information up on the official SILV07 website (http://Vegas.Supras.Org/v07) very soon.

We are very excited about this new addition and hope it will spark even more friendly competition.

We are looking at having a MkIII and MkIV TDSC. We are also looking for sponsors for these new additions. Please visit http://Vegas.Supras.Org/v07/sponsor.asp to sign up to receive the official Sponsor Proposal packet if you are interested in sponsoring either the MkIII or MkIV TDSC (or both).

I want to make a suggestion. But that is all it is. It would be extra work, and I think you do enough as is.

Ever hear of the Engine Masters Challenge? It is a contest on the dyno, where peak number only contributes to the score. So does torque, and the average over a range. Because that is where it counts.

Since we are still working out the details we could look into this.

Show-and-Shine will be broken down into three different pieces (Interior, Exterior, and engine).

Drags will be ET/Speed/RT

Dyno could easily be HP/TQ/and whatever you would call that last part.

Nick - can you explain how this average thing would work? Please send a PM.

It is our goal to make this new TDSC very competitive and exciting for everyone involved while keeping things as fair as possible.

Will do. Thanks. Maybe you could be the point person to drum up participants for the MkIII TDSC. We need 5 by 9/15 or we will have to cancel.

Nobody thinks they have what it takes to play in the TDSC? WOW!

If you are going to dyno at SILV anyway the TDSC entry fee is only $20 more and includes a FREE SILV07 T-shirt and you will not have to get up early to get to the dyno to sign up as TDSC participants have reserved times on the rollers. Don't forget about the special TDSC participant token and awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

This isn't about who has the highest horsepower or the fastest 1320. This is an overall competition.

We've just had our first MkIV TDSC participant sign up.

I'm going to be very disappointed in the MkIII community if nobody is willing to step up.

Remember that this is an overal competition. You don't have to drop the best 1/4 mile time or the highest horsepower to win. You just have to be consistant across the big activities.

We even have a really cool commemorative MkIII TDSC token that you will receive if you participate.
