I've been hearing that these turbos fail pre-maturely ,I'd like to know if any of you have expierenced this? and what actually goes wrong with them?

By 'EBAY Turbos', I am guessing you mean the 'chinese' turbos on eBay,
since I see a lot of Real turbos there too, like GReddy T78s & T88s.
Not everything on chinaBay is crap,
you just have to look for the good stuff.

I bought one of those ebay turbos as a replacement while I got my GT40 rebuilt.
That was 6 months ago. I haven't bothered taking it off my car yet, it's still going strong.

I have been running one for about 5,000 miles. I do only run it at 12 PSI since I don't have any more fuel yet. (twins were dead) I drive that thing hard though. Zero problems here.

Just so you guys know the turbos that are on ebay that you need to watch out for are the ones that are priced below 500.00 anyone that is selling a new turbo that cost less than that is cutting some major corners and/or they are made in china. :nono:
