what all do i need to swap an 87 to a 90 7mgte. my car is an 7mgte all ready but as far as wireing harnest and all that good stuff. btw. is a gt40r turbo too much :icon_evil :evil2:

why do you want to do all that? bumpers are different, wings are different, tailigghts, are the body differences.
is your motor stock? if so then yes a gt40 turbo is waaaaaayy to big.

as i already told you, you MUST use the '87 engine wiring harness. the only thing you'll have to swap is a few sensors from the '87 engine to the '90 engine due to different plugs.
ok i got a 87 supra with really really bad rod knock so i was debating to rebuild or buy this 90 long block of my friend for $400
If his motor is a good motor, then go that route, cause its gonna cost you that much and more down time to redo yours.
