Suspension Specialist in NJ

I recently installed a set of coilovers and I am in need of alignment as my rears are wearing severly on the insides.

I checked out several autobody shops and all refused to align it.

They said they wouldnt be able to get it anywhere near factory specs and would only be guessing.

I am very grateful for their honesty as they could have just taken my money and I would be on my way with the same or even worse alignment then before.

I guess Im looking for a speed shop who specializes in suspension and has experience working on lowered cars.

Has anyone had any experience/recommendations on shops that are in the New Jersey area?

go to any firestone dealer/installer they do custom wheel alignment.

Firestone aint exactly a suspension specialist. They do okay work. There just like Midas/Pepboys/STS ect.

Looking for a shop who works on imports/modified cars on a daily basis.

I am clueless as to whether one exists in the NJ area as I haven't seen or heard of one...hence me posting this thread.

there a DSM shop... but they should be able to get you an alignment either by them, or they'll know somebody im sure. there just a little north of NJ too...

I'm pretty sure JNZ doesn't have a rack. They also aren't "a little north of NJ", they're in PA, not too far from jersey, but depends on where in Jersey you're coming from.

But if you're willing to leave Jersey, go to R/T Tuning, it's where I will go for my alignments. They got a sweet alignment rack about a year ago and my friend Pat is the one who does all the alignments. And I trust him to align all of my cars. They're in Lansdale, PA. Give them a call, 215-855-5565.

try calling eurotire on rt46....maybe they can help you out. they did my alignment years back when i was on rsr springs and bilsteins. once my car is running again ill probably have them redo it since i got poly bushings now and coilovers

i just found a shop that i knew of in that general area... if a shop has race/drag cars, they HAVE to have somebody who does alignments... so thats why i suggested jnz, or at least to call them.

but i would trust your place more as your the local specialist on suspension... and you use them for your personal cars.

Where exactly is R/T Tuning located? I wouldnt mind taking a ride for quality service.

damn chris, you beat me to it.

eurotire is in fairfield nj. they have experience tuning aftermarket suspensions. i went there a few years back to get an alignment after i redid my suspension. while making adjustments, one of my tierods busted. the manager let me know and covered the labor for replacing it and charged me 1/2 of what he paid for the part. it was late in the day so he couldnt get the part, so i was stranded there (lived 20 miles away). the guy offered me a ride home. i couldnt believe it.
anyway... they have a great reputation and apparently a lot of people in the area with modded cars swear by the place. the only thing is that they are extremely expensive
