When I push on my car it rolls like there's no tomorrow. It's like a boat in some rough waters. Anyway, I don't know that much about suspension but I assume it's the shocks no longer doing their job. Also the springs are wicked rusty. Can springs reach a point where the spring constant changes so drastically that you absolutely need to get new ones. I don't think I'll do any intense autocrossing on these springs but I can't really afford to change them right now. The shocks I can probably do though. So does anyone know of any good but cheap shocks that I should look at. Keep in mind that I'm not looking to make this autocross or track ready.......yet.

roll bars...

if your suspension is that rusty, I'd be looking at the tabs where the rear endlinks mount and inspecting the entire suspension for issues...

are the standard bushings expensive stateside? i know for a fact theyl be hellish expensive in the uk.

I have a similar kinda feel with my car. i have replaced front struts but i now need to replace the rears. but i also have an annoying creak from the front. im thinking it could be arb related. ie the arb bushings. or perhaps the end drop links.

anyone got a link to sites that could suply these as stock items rather than polyurethane

cheers

got a full set of used tokico gas sturts with spring installed for cheap. Fully compatible with TEMS system. You are also in New York how far from CT? I will let you have this full set for $175 for local pickup $200 plus shipping if I got to ship them heavy suckers. Keep in mind that these are over $400 a set for just struts. They are the only TEMS compatible struts out there.
