Supra Stolen in Fremont, CA

My 1989 Supra was stolen yesterday daytime from the BART (local train) Fremont station. The car only had the factory alarm and there was no broken glass left behind. I don't know if a lot of members here live in or near the Bay Area in California but any tips about the car would be greatly appreciated. The car was reported to the police immediately but there has been no response from the authorities as of yet.

This is the first time I've ever had a vehicle stolen and I'm being told by a lot of people that the car is probably stripped clean at a chop shop by now and I should just give up any hope of a recovery. Are these incidents fairly common with Supras? I usually see Camry's and Civics on Most Stolen cars lists because of the market for reselling parts but Supras are fairly rare. Any suggestions, hints, or comments?

1989 7MGTE 5-spd
All white Targa model w/ white sawblades
Maroon cloth interior
Custom exhaust system, no tip on the muffler
License Plate# 3EUU375

Not the best picture but it shows the plates and the muffler w/ no tip and smoke marks on the bumper. Only thing that really makes the car stand apart from stock.

out of 100 cars that are stolen 0.002 of might be a supra. ask me i know. like what other people have said, its most like being chopped and stripped. 45 percent chance that some one will find the car in a lonely street.

im really sorry man. it happens to the best of us. i had my car stolen too and it brings back so much pain just seeing my car has disappeared from where i had parked it the previous night. Good luck with your search.

BTW. was there any upgrades to your car that might have tipped of any body. how about enemies?

integras are the highest on the stolen list IIRC, sorry to hear about your car, someone got into my car awhile ago and took some of my tools but it wasn't devastating. :\

So sorry to hear this mate. :(

I know the feeling... Mine was stolen last year, and thankfully showed up a few weeks later (a little worse for wear, mind you).

Only upgrades I had were custom IC piping, intake and full 3in piping from turbo on down, no cat, and had a stereo system. I have no enemies, I just barely moved back home from college not too long ago so I don't even know anyone in the area. I'm a lowkey kinda guy, so I cant imagine anyone even knowing about my car.

The car was mainly used to drive from home to the train station which is 1.5 - 2 miles from home and then parked there all day for 10-12hrs. Someone must've been scouting my car im guessing. I had a couple people ask me in the last month if I was interested in selling my car but I just took it as a compliment and politely said no. I guess i'll think twice next time someone says that. The car was taken from the lot in broad daylight with hundreds of cars parked around it. There are lots of benz, bmws, lexus, audis, etc in that lot too. Even the cop told me it is not very common for cars to be stolen from that exact station but I guess shit happens.

I saw a white 89+ Supra on hesparian 3 days ago on my way to class and it Look'ed just like you'rs. I was going to stop him but not because it may have been you'r stolen Supra(I did'nt even knoe you'r Supra got stolen until now) but becaust I love white Supras. He made a left anyways and I already decided to keep going srait. If it makes you feel any better when I saw it the car still looked pretty clean... a little too clean... I'll make sure to stop every white package I see from now on...

I live in Hayward and work in Fremont..
I will kkeep an eye out for sure. Clied, where in Hesperian did you see this one?

Like when I was about to pass Whipple or was it Industrial ? Naw it was whipple. He made a left on to whipple, this was about 7:40AM last Friday I believe.
