Alright supramania this is my first test of how well you guys are put together. Now that ive been a member for a decent time now! HERE WE GO!!!

My supra has pissed oil since I've had it, but I keep her filled, Suttle smoke from exhaust don't think its just moisture but i live in Arkansas, so who knows.

Recently my baby has decided to shake like its climaxing. But this only occurs when I have started the car and let the car warm up to standard engine operating temp. and then i turn the car off, then back on, it shakes and exhaust sputters, sounds like crap. This first occurrence was maybe a week or so ago and since then the shaking has been dimming down a bit, but then again I might be getting used to it.

My honest guesses are that some sensor has worn, or my oil goes bad once warmed up, Btw as long as i do not stop and restart the engine it will run smooth as the the sexy curves on the mk4.:naughty: Peace

The shaking sounds like a vacuum issue. Check your lines. Oil pissing? Like from the bottom or is it all over the bay?

also for the shaking, balance shaft?

and did you check around the valve covers and the oil pan? bad gaskets cause many facepalms

^^^+1 clean the motor, get a light, and find where its coming, im sure most people cant just tell you where its coming from, so your gonna have to dig deep to find out here.

also you didnt mention if the car was GTE or GE and any mods you may have done to cause the oil leak?

for shaking? not sure could be a worn out mount i guess, or a bad idle, or even some miss fire

Dam you guys keep finding my first post mistakes okay so here,
- 7m ge engine
- soon to be rebuild
- No mods what so ever to engine or electronic control.
- I do not think its the shaft because it will run very well for the first start, then messes around when re started and runs at normal operation temp.
- I think somehow the timing gets put out of place somehow maybe my timing belt has expanding and contracting issues although ive never heard of it, it might be possible if it was a cheapo that was installed. And a bad mount does sound reasonable.

well for the oil leaking could be any gasket, crank, cams, rear main seal valve cover, most of the time i see are the rear and crank seal a lot on older vehicles

I come from a land down under
Wash the engine well with degreaser put some UV dye in with the oil then drive it a day or so and blacklight it to find the leak.

We can then discuss repairs, no use in guessing Dude.
