supra $p*rt alum drive shaft question

I bought one of these long ago about 4 years, and now I need "U" joints for the thing.

I can't find any spicer or dana numbers on the joints themselves, and S.S. won't answer my question because they dont' know.

Any one have any help?

It is. Still has "U" joints.

They do. Its just that my drive shaft has thrown out both of the "U" joints.

Trent is still on Supraforums all the time, he is a "SuperMod" over there, worked with Jeff M. in the early days and may be able to help you with the info you need. Jeff just sold his 7M for a Porsche, may not see him on the forums much anymore.

If I remember correctly, the Suprasport ones were made by Jim Jobe. I think he's still on the SOGI email list, you might be able to find an email address for him at supras.com and looking at the SOGI members...

Surprisingly enough, it is "Trent".

I believe Jeff G. is correct as well, Jim Jobe was the original source of the driveshafts.

any truck DS fabricator should be able to replace the spider bearing for you.

all i remember is they have "spicer heavy duty U-Joints"

I know someone who can help you..

call Jeff at www.jawsgear.com he'll help you ID the ujoint and if it is a servicable unit, he can get you the parts.

Um... you can take it to any auto parts store and they can measure it and spec it for ya, its not that hard... aight peace :chicken:
