Supra Mass Air Flow Translator (MAF-Ta)

Hi,
Reading a posted ad, it said that you can remove the AFM on supra by installing a Mass Air Flow Translator (MAF-T). I just bought a lexus AFM and would rather remove the AFM if possible. I was wondering if this is true and if so, what is need for the MAF-T too function properly? Also if anyone know any website where I can get more information about hooking up a MAF-T? Thanks alot
