i think its like 20% but i dont know it was that way when i got the car. my favorite color is blue thats why i went with it. i was going to do my wifes supra interior in hot pink but we sold it instead i have pics of my brothers 87 rx7 door panels that ive started on if you guys wanna see them?

I did something similar in my 87T and now in my 90T.... Good job! I hope you can do a write up.... I took a bunch of pics to make a write up and can't seem to find 'em.... Nice, easy, and fairly inexpensive way to freshen up the interior.

U just need to keep going, to get rid of all that burgundy/maroon...eeeewww ;-)

Here's what I did in the 87T

Good job man, i like the colour combo personally. I did red/black vinyl on my whole prelude's interior last year and after a month or 2 in the heat it started falling apart. Make sure you use generous coverage when applying spray adhesives since I used a very strong one and it still lost grip after a few months.

Mine have held up forever too.... I used 3M spray adhesive and a bit of glue (glue-gun) on some of the pieces of fabric when I "folded" it over in the back of the panels. Damn... gotta find them pics....

I'm not a huge fan of the blue either, but you did a good job and it looks clean. also, 3m adhesive spary = goodness. I used some on my door panels two years ago and it still holds strong. the trick is to follow the instructions on the can and it will hold. I believe that it also comes in multiple strengths, get the strong stuff.
