oh i went to the local foam and fabric shop and picked up some vinyl and some spray adhesive called the big stick and also went to autozone and got some gloss black vinyl and fabric paint they have alot of different colors remove the old fabric trace it to fit the glue it back fairly simple its the same with the speaker cover.
i think its like 20% but i dont know it was that way when i got the car. my favorite color is blue thats why i went with it. i was going to do my wifes supra interior in hot pink but we sold it instead i have pics of my brothers 87 rx7 door panels that ive started on if you guys wanna see them?
I did something similar in my 87T and now in my 90T.... Good job! I hope you can do a write up.... I took a bunch of pics to make a write up and can't seem to find 'em.... Nice, easy, and fairly inexpensive way to freshen up the interior.
U just need to keep going, to get rid of all that burgundy/maroon...eeeewww ;-)
Good job man, i like the colour combo personally. I did red/black vinyl on my whole prelude's interior last year and after a month or 2 in the heat it started falling apart. Make sure you use generous coverage when applying spray adhesives since I used a very strong one and it still lost grip after a few months.

im going to do a write up soon but ill have to use my brothers rx7 panels cuz thats what im currently doing. ill post pics soon. my doors have been done since like august its still holding strong so maybe there ok.
Mine have held up forever too.... I used 3M spray adhesive and a bit of glue (glue-gun) on some of the pieces of fabric when I "folded" it over in the back of the panels. Damn... gotta find them pics....
I'm not a huge fan of the blue either, but you did a good job and it looks clean. also, 3m adhesive spary = goodness. I used some on my door panels two years ago and it still holds strong. the trick is to follow the instructions on the can and it will hold. I believe that it also comes in multiple strengths, get the strong stuff.
