dense air in england... I'd almost prefer a turbo, but if you supercharge it, use the 7m-ge, higher compression=more HP w/ less psi. I dont know of any kits, or anyone who has done this... either way, good lusk w/ your endeavors.

ps: before you do anything I would reccomend a metal head gasket, and some hrp head studs torqued to ~72ft./lbs.

Hmmm a supercharged 7M. Seems to ring a bell, but if it did ever happen it was only one person and it must have been way back in the day. (Aka. I can't remember.) Good luck though, you'll definitely be doing some "minor customizing."

It can absolutely be done. Most people go Turbo because swapping in a turbo engine is cheaper... by a LOT. Putting on a supercharger would mean a whole lot of custom fab work, and a whole lot of R&D.

there was a topic somewhere about using a supercharger from a old 5gze(?) mr2 but I believe it was determined to be to small to flow enough. I would say use like the trd supercharger made for the new thundra's depending on what type of supercharger you plan to run. root, centrifigal. whatever there is deffintly someway or another to get a supracharger on there if someone really wanted too.

you're thinkin about the 4agze, and yes, the sc off that would be far too small to even compare to a ct-26. and IMO, the centrifugal sc is the way to go for a supercharged vehicle.

its been done. but i've only seen one picture. it is indeed possible, probably more easily done with a centrifugal unit from vortech or somebody else...

here's the picture of the only one ive seen. it's a roots-type, and if you are an experienced welder, or know someone who is, it probably wouldnt be that hard to fab up....
