Mike, if you are planning on replacing the setup next year, why not save the money now and do it how you want sooner than later? Given that any money spent on a turbo upgrade now would keep you from that goal... it's what I would do. Remember, having a solid plan will save you a lot of time and money with a car project. ;)

That said, if you're definitely going to go this route, I would see what options you could get in a ball bearing upgrade. It's one of those things that seems to convert anyone who says it isn't worth the extra money. :p

Any information on those few turbos out there with CT turbine and compressor housings with Garrett CHRA's? I'm about to pick one up but don't know who's been making these or any of the specs on them...
