Shortly after buying the supra the horn quit working. Turned out it was the horn/hazard fuse. The idiot PO had been having the problem as well, I'd say, since it had a 30 amp fuse installed instead of a 15.
I attempted to find a short, by installing a test light in place of the fuse, and wiggling/moving all the wires in the harness that I could get at, but never got the light to come on. I installed a 15 amp fuse and the horn and hazards worked fine for some time and then the fuse blew again. I once again tried to find the short, same results.
This has happened a few more times since, and only once did I install a fuse and have it blow right on the spot. I got all excited and installed the test light, but the short was no longer shorted.
Can anyone recommend a way to track this very intermitant problem, or suggest a common problem area to look at?
