Got the timing fixed for what I think... The car only runs as smooth as it will when the distributor is turned as far CCW as possible. At a stop it idles smooth, then when I go to push the gas pedal it will miss a bit until about 2k rpm then smooth out completely. Also the throttle feels a bit un-proportional, like ill slowly push in the throttle, nothing....nothing....nothing, then straight to 2k RPM when im revving it in neutral. Any help? Thanks much!

PS - Changed the Distributor cap, rotor, and Spark plugs. It had MSD 8.5mm plug wires on the original motor when I bought the car but they might be a bit old, would bad wires cause bad ignition inbetween 1-2k RPM???
