stupid question but need fast answers

I am replacing the springs and struts on my car ans I ran into a snag. How do you guys remove the shock from the car? everything is off and the spring assembly is just flaoting there. Do I have to disassemble the spring and strut assembly to remove it? Or is there another way. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to remove either the nut from the shock end shaft or remove the 3 nuts that hold the shock assembly to the body.

I removed the 3 nuts on the top and the one on the bottom but it looks like you have to remove the upper contrlo arm to get them out. I think Im just overcomplicating this but its really stuck.

Thanks for your guys help. My car is very low now and handles like a BMW. One last question. How much does 4 89+ springs and tems shocks go for? 4 tems motors? I want to sell them but dont know how much to ask.
