I can't seem to get the old gasket off my throttle body. It's stuck on there good. I can only get a tiny pit out of it off at a time. Is there any solvent I can use to loosen it up?

yep, spray gasket remover on it, and you can also get gasket remover pads for a die grinder...

torque the throttlebody on by spec and they usually don't stick like that...

Permatex makes a gasket remover which I've heard a few people say works well.... never tried it myself.

Depending on the materials in the gasket simply soaking it for a minute or two with either Naphtha or Toluene or M.E.K. will soften it enough for you to just slide it right off. Can't suggest which you should use though... my TB gasket's metal with a viton seal.

Gasket remover works great, just spray it, let it be for a bit, and go to town with a razor.:icon_bigg

wire brush on a die grinder rips just about anything off without harming the surface. Ive never had a gasket that I couldnt remove that way.
