I have a '90 Turbo stocker with TEMS. Yes.... when you press normal the ride is a bit softer than in sport mode. I drive a car more for a comfortable ride. Just wanted to know what shocks/struts do you think provide the softest ride. Koni, Bilstein, Tokico. And what would provide the softest ride and still be compatible with TEMS system. Thanks:icon_bigg:icon_razz

Doesnt toyota still make strusts for our cars? I would think the OEM would be softer than Tokicos - I think that is the only 2 available option to keep TEMS

You can adjust Koni to be as soft as you want, but unless you swap to softer springs all you will end up with is a bouncy ride. The stock shocks are (somewhat) stiff so they match the springs.

Thanks. Just wondering if I were to bring my car into the mechanic, who would he call? Are you saying the OEM's are no longer made? How about a set of Bilstein struts? Expensive, but heard they are good. Just wondering whether that is a viable option.

From Toyota your looking at around 160 - 240 ish depending where you go for just 1 tems shock.

All 4 and your close to coilovers.

I have my coilovers on full soft and it's soft just cruising around.
