I’ve got a strange little thing going on with my Supra’s idle lately. If she’s in neutral and I rev it up a little the idle drops as if to stall out then recovers quickly. Sometimes it will kind of bugger around a little bit but it always recovers and even goes away after driving it a bit. Any ideas?

Could be several things. Timing, tune up, etc. Need more info as to what you have done, haven't done to try to nail down the problem.

No codes. I haven’t done a dang thing to it yet. Right now she is up on jack stands getting her differential replaced. I don’t know of any other info to give other than the description of the symptoms. It runs just fine. I was wondering if there is an idle adjustment or sensor of some sort on these cars.

Still need more info, plugs, timing, etc, etc. Idle is set by ECU. If timing is advanced to far, could cause it, too many things to list that would cause it to do what you describe.

Thanks, the plugs are good and the timing is spot on. Well, at least darn close to it.

Did you set it according to the TSRM?
You also said the timing was "darn close". Did you check it with a light and jumping TE1 and E1?
