I have an 87 N/A at the moment. I also own a 95 T-100. It is in pretty sad shape body wise and was wondreing if anyone had put a 3.4L V-6 in a Supra. I know that it's rated for roughly 190 horse and 220 on the tourque side. The truck will get up and move and it weighs less than the car does. I think that a turbo or supercharge set up would be pretty easy on this motor. I just wanted to know if anyone had attempted/tried this?

It's not so much time or money. I have both vehicles. I just haven't heard much of anyting for going V6 over I6. I would like to keep my truck but I can replace it for almost nothing. I thought it was a 5 something motor. I would go out and look but it's dar and cold. Plus tha 20 year old bottle of Jim Beam I'm drinking prevents good motor skils.

TRD makes a supercharger.
I think you could use the R150 bellhousing on the R154. I do know that the 5VZ won't fit in older trucks and 4runners unless you want to cut your hood because of where the throttle body sits. So I would bet that you'd run into the same problem in the Supra. Not to mention you'd be on your own for wiring.

I'm not to sure how the wireing would work since the truck is auto and the car is manual. I would probably have to go with a standalone set up for the easiest route. It was a drunken idea and I hadn't seen much other than 1JZ,2JZ and the UZ swaps. I like the idea of a supercharger a little more than a turbo for that application. I am tosing ideas out b/c at 140k miles I know that the motor won't last forever.

if you're going V8 buy an LS2 or an LS1 and twin turbo or supercharge it, the damn engine bay has the room, its been done before and its badass power and torque wise, the lexus V8 just doesn't impress me.

The whole idea was that I have both vehicles. This way I spend the least amount of money and I do something that not alot of people have done. Oh and it's not a V-8 it's a V-6 out of my T100. But any ideas or comments are welcome.
