My best time on my stock turbo was a 9.00, but most of the time it was about 9.15 or there abouts. I am running with an automatic though. Hope this helps a little.

my car is stock with the exception of a round filter and aboost controller. i just ran tonight, i think im hitting fuel cut cuz i ran like 72 mph, 10.2 in the eigth and a 2.3 60 ft time. first time on track so there probably could be improvement.
anyone know how to get the best launch with an auto?
how can i tell if im hitting fuel cut?
i think im running around 10 psi, not sure (stock boost gauge :( )

my car is doing 9.2 in the 1/8th @ 78mph, but thats modded.

if you have to wonder wether or not you hit fuel cut you probly didnt. f/c feels like you hit a wall, car just stops, engine light comes on, very obvious.

Automatics OWN with High Stall Torque Converter...building boost off the line is the BEST thing ever.:biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Bye-Bye 5 speeds!:icon_surp

Hell, without a High stall torque converter, As long as you've got some good tires, you can build up 3-4 psi before you start spinning...Try building a tad bit of boost off the line...still nothing like a HSTC:)

I agree with all of the above. You WILL know when you hit fuel cut. I also try to spool a little bit before the light turns green. If I spool too much then I start spinning so there is a fine line there that you have to find with your car. Nothing beats practice. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol
