I came across some selling "stock" tokico illumnia's used. I also found tokico "TEMS" illumnias on shox.com that say they are cockpit controlled. Were the original TEMS struts made by tokico? Whats the story here? I havent even driven my car yet, so I don't really know how the suspension is, but with 180,000 miles on it, chances are it needs dampeners.

I can't answer all those questions.
At 180,000 miles, if they have never been changed, you probably do need dampeners.
