Okay, this is also on SF but they seem to be of no help so lets try it here.

How much pressure can the stock radiator that is in the 7mgte hold before it blows a leak? I was considering the high-pressure (1.3 bar/18 lb) trd radiator cap to help keep the car cooler since summer is right around the corner.

I just don't wanna blow the radiator since I haven't gotten an aux tranny cooler installed yet.

A higher cap won't neccessarily raise system pressure. And even if it did why would you think increasing system pressure would make the engine run cooler? All it'll do is raise the boiling point of the coolant.

Another reason to go with a lower pressure cap is radiator swell. Like anything metal when you bend it x amouts of times it will break. This applies to a radiator as well since when it's hot it swells and when it cools it shrinks. The more pressure it is required to hold, the larger it will swell. I use an 8-6 psi cap since the system is designed to use an overflow bottle.
