I'm dropping in a FMIC and I think the 'cooler' is going to get in the way.... If I were to bypass it for a few weeks, months, whatever, till I can get a small real cooler in there would I be causing myself any problems? I know its there for a reason but does it make THAT much of a difference?

An old stock 7m engine oil cooler works great for a power steering cooler!
Don't run without a cooler unless you like replacing bad ps pumps and racks, and/or loosing the power assist at random while you are driving.

How's the cooler getting in the way? Just relocate it.

I fit TWO PS coolers, and a hydro fan cooler WITH my 24x1x4 IC.

Doesn't matter anyway, It fits a-okay. It was just a eyeballs guess that it wasn't going to work.

Now I need to figure out wtf to do with my overflow bottle and stock oil cooler :)

Hmm, I've seen two different styles of coolers so far. Neither looked like that one, LOL.
That's a hydro fan cooler, not a PS cooler. I was just using it as a reference to show you how I fit it with the IC. There's two more PS coolers on top of the IC.
