does a stock mk3 have an internal swing valve with factory boost regulating solenoid, or is it not equiped with one? type 1, 2, or 3? , im trying to hook up a greddy profec b boost controller and i dont know what type of solenoid valves mine has, could someone maybe check it out on greddy.com, then go to tech/support, then profec b boost controller and tell me what directions to go off of, id appreciate the help, thanks

Stock Mk3 has no boost control - wastegate actuator is pressure activated and plumbed directly into the turbo outlet.

It connects to anything in the intercooler pipes that is under pressure from the turbo.

If you can write in English, then you can read in English.
Goto the Apexi web site (http://apexi-usa.com/ ) and download the PDF instruction manual and read it thoroughly. :3d_frown:

Look at the turbo, there should be a small vacuum line running from the compressor housing to the wastegate actuator.

Remove this line, hook the compressor housing up to the NO port on the solenoid, and the wastegate actuator to the COM port. Leave the NC port OPEN (not capped!).

I believe this is described in the Profec B manual.
