Stock Exhaust to Test Pipe Hook Up?

Does a 3" flanged test pipe fit directly up to the stock mk3 cat back exhaust? or do i need to do extensive modifications that would require more than just a set of 14mm wrenches and a few flaky gaskets?

Anyone?

i know my 3 inch dp and 3inch cat back bolt to the stock cat i dont see why it wouldnt work the other way around

Make sure you have the right type of flanges on the test pipe first obviously, but assuming that's true, it is just a matter of lining up the holes and bolting it up. Test pipes are made to be the same working dimmensions as a cat for specifically that reason, so you can bolt it up in place of the cat. If your cat back bolts up to stock, no reason why this shouldn't too.

Hmm, thanks... I'll give it a shot and we will see how it goes.

The BIC testpipes are a direct bolt on part. They have the same bolt pattern as the stock exhaust, just make sure to use the O ring stock gasket and the one that comes with the TP.
