hi.. new home slice here.

im looking to see if anyone knows of a replacement for the stock dual fan motors. i just went to toyota to order them and they said these are not made anymore, however the blades are.

for picture reference..
what im looking for are parts 13 and 14 in this picture.. though it is not 100% exactly like mine has an electric fan in front of the radiator too as a push fan

through Toyota, the original part numbers are 88550-14040, 88550-14050 (thanks to the dude at priority toyota for looking it up for me)

thanks.. im hoping someone has tried using fan motors from maybe another vehicle. EG i needed windshield washer nozzles for my hood. they don't make those anymore either. but i ran into a thread where someone found that using the windshield washer nozzles for a 2002-2005 Camry will work (part number 85381-AA042) AND they do. you just need to pivot the rear in put the hose on than snap the spaying end down. and it works WAY better than the original 2 beam spray from the original.

I think i have, or had a couple few sets of those stock fans. They are for a/c, and I think they turn on if you get over a certain temp. You really do not need them, as they never turn on unless you are severely overheating, by which time its too late.

If you would like to buy a set pm me and ill see if I can come up with them. also have you tried to see if yours work still by hooking them up to direct 12V source like the battery?

As for the windshield washer sprayers, there is a company that carries them called Driftmotion.com they are a vendor here, and you can also go to their website and check them out.

Just in case anyone sees this and doesn't read it completely... the "fix" this Camry applies to only works properly on a 89+ hood (the hole sizes are different for pre-89).
