Well, it's done 20psi on my car. Didn't seem to make much difference after 18 though, I think it's well out of it's efficiency range by then.
from what i understand anything after 15psi is just hot air.

I'd debate that. There was a significant difference from 15 to 18.

well i dont doubt you Grim, if you have done it and felt a difference than i belive you. i read 15 somewhere and have stored that in my memory as being the limit for the ct.
Well, my quarter mile time dropped about .5 seconds from 12lbs to 16lbs of boost; but I hit fuel cut if I go any higher =x
I've seen the same 15 number. 
Which is why I pushed it.
BTW, I don't suggest doing so unless you know what you are doing - I was building another engine anyhow, and pushed it well over the line, blew a piston with detonation doing this.
