Stock BOV problem???

I just took the top of my engine apart, because i was replacing some bad cam seals, and now that i started driving it again i noticed that my stock bov sputters, and it didnt before i took it apart, should i be worried??? well please n thanxs

no it only flutters when i let off the gas, and it just now started doing that after i took the engine appart to change the cam seals???

Fluttering sounds = stuck closed bov = compressor surge = dead turbo

You can check to see if it is bad easily enough. Just pull one end of it out, and simply blow through it. If you can blow through it easily, then yes, its dead. There easy/cheap enough to pick up used!

If you don't boost it may not do any harm. But it will destroy your turbo.

Just get an aftermarket BOV!!!

^ Agreed. You can find em that are almost silent. Or go get a stock replacement. Very cheap from what Ive collected
