i cleaned out my isc sensor with brake clean and compressed air and put it back onto the car and it was still idling at around 1200. so i thought the sensor might be bad and i borrowed one from a freind and it did the same thing. i check all the adjustment screws on the throttle body and they are all backed out so it cant be that. im almost positive that i found all my vacuum leaks. what else could it be? is it possible my tps sensor could be out of wack? it was idling at 1200 and i unplugged the tps and the rpms dipped down a bit then went back to 1200 rpm, does this mean anything? if so how can i i fix it? do i need a new sensor or can i recalibrate it? my tps sensor housing was cracked but i welded it back up perfectly to the way it should have been. but could that broken housing have anything to do with it? im stumped i dunno where else to look. im gonna try and swap out tps sensors with my freind and see if that works.
thanks,
Vic
