how do you remove the Instrament Center Cluster Finish Panel so that i can remove the radio/stereo? does it just snap on and off, or is there hiden screws or clips i should know about before man-handling the whole thing off?

There's a screw by the driver's right leg, one below the hazard switch, and 2 in the ashtray's bay.... you'll also need to remove the top two which hold in the ashtray's metal top piece. Then it snaps out.
I have parted 5 MKIII's, and just today on MKIII #6, I just found that screw under the hazard switch.I guess it never gets put back in, if ever taken out.

Yeah, it's either never replaced, or in the case of mine, the previous owner doesn't think to look for a screw there and just pulls 'til it snaps.
