So I took off the big bolt in the middle. Do I then just yank the sucker out? or is there other screws I need to remove?

sometimes it will yank off, but a steering wheel puller is the easies way. other way is using a brass drift, and make sure it is brass, and put your knees behind the wheel and put pressure on it, then using the drift and a hammer, hit the shaft and the wheel should pop off. if you dont use a brass drift you will damage the threads

There are two threaded M8 holes in the steering wheel hub frame which you can thread a couple bolts into. I just found a scrap piece of steel bar, around 1" wide and 1/4" thick, drilled a couple loose clearance holes with the same spacing as the steering wheel hub, and threaded the bolts through the plate and into the wheel. Tighten the bolts, a little on each side at a time, and the wheel pops right off. I woudln't want to try it any other way. There are some rather fragile pieces right behind the wheel and removing as much possibility of damage is a good thing.

Keep the plate around for future usage if/when the wheel needs to come off again.
