Steering wheel fix: Any comments?

I found this on SF in the $20 or less mod page. I'm wondering if this will work for an 89 steering wheel too.

yeah it will, but it looks like total ass:barf: the wheel under the leather is pretty thin. I tested it on my 88' parts car and I'm glad I did that rather than rip up my DD wheel. Just my 0.02.

Gay, IMO... Deal with it for the meantime, and buy either another 89 wheel (i just sold mine for like $80) or buy an aftermarket wheel with hub off of ebay.

You can get a hub at autozone ( I'm not 100% sure)

Tekniq? I have one, with the snap-off hub and it's great! I would like a new wheel though...
