As seen in the other threads too, but I'd like to get a little more attention regarding the GB as we need more support. If the mods feel this is over-extending my boundaries, please feel free to delete.
Thanks, Kevin

Just so eveyone in the GB can see, here is the newest info email that has gone out.

There is now a deadline of August 20th. 25 people which shouldn't be a problem.

Out of the original list of 35+ people, I have still only received 17 deposits. As I’ve said in the past, I would like to get some involvement from some of the online retailers, but with this low of a turn-out, I don’t see how they’re going to want to invest in it. Of course, there will be more people that want them later, as this is always the case, but the overall demand appears to be just too low. As requested by participants of the GB, I will now finally set a deadline with the hopes to motivate those who are holding back.

To continue the group buy, I would like to see 25 total deposits received by the 20th of August. That means, only 8 more people. With 25 sold, I will then increase the pressure on the retailers to help us make this happen and get to 35 pre-sold.

Some people have suggested that we just have people send in the rest of their money to cover, but I don’t think they realize how expensive this part actually is to make. The mold alone costs $3500. Only after that, can we begin to make them at the price of $108each. Made in America is not a cheap title to have.

So, once again, here is the list of who has paid:

1) Turkish
2) Me
3) Supramanmk3
4) TrueNorthSupra
5) wulfstan
6) woodytsi
7) Hot Dayam Supra
8) brokensupra
9) brokensupra
10) brokensupra
11) Shadeanimal
12) NegativeGeForce
13) owen
14) AGlobalThreat
15) Hewey56
16) Hewey56
17) IHI-RHC7

The following people have contacted me regarding their deposit:

jdmk3_87t
aXis 7M
DEFIANT 7M
RacerXJ220
SupraManDrew87
SupraManDrew87 (his friend)

The following people had said they were in, but I have heard nothing since:

empera
shaeff
lawlawland@shaw.ca
customsuzuki1000@yahoo.com
c.hamilton75@cox.net

If I can’t get 25 deposits by the 20th, I’ll postpone the group buy and refund everyone their deposits. I will relist the group buy with only those who had sent deposits and we will again try to organize enough people who will actually participate

Thanks for your time, patience and support.

I am open to suggestions and comments.

Thanks

Kevin Martin

$108 each, after we pay for a $3500 mold. With 35 people, that averages 208 each, then figure in pp, my gas, etc. That's why the GB price is $220 each with 35 people.

That make more sense?

Bump for Kevin as he is the king of a properly run GB.

Don't wait until the last minute as the more folks that pay up front, the lower the price ends up.

Don't be like the sunshade guys who kept waiting until they felt the price was going to go down.
