I swapped a 7mgte into my n/a car and had problems with getting it started. I am making progress because now it actually will start.

Now all it will do is start, stumble a little bit and die. I tried catching the stumble by hitting the accelerator but it will hesitate and just die. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to look for my problem?

By the way, the gas that is in the car has been in there since last september. I didn't put anything into it to keep it good over the winter. Would this be a reason why I am having problems?

am guessing you have a 7mgte ecu, check for vacuum leaks before the turbo after the afm and after the turbo before the tb, make sure you getting good fuel pressure 32psi or so, good spark make sure all the ground wire are connected especially the ones by the injectors

Ground wires by the injectors? Can u clarify on that? There's a small cluster of grounds that get attached under the intake manifold and a single wire that goes from the coil pack to the top of the head. Which one are you talking about?

Those are the grounds he's talking about. Check your CPS wiring for cracks/breaks around the connector. Did you confirm the CPS is installed correctly?

Anyone have a picture of where the ground wire connects from the coil pack to the head? I looked and I don't see any wire that is grounded from the coil pack.

Look at the coil pack and there's a single wire attached to the mounting surface of the coils. This wire goes to the head just above the fuel rail.
