My car is taking kinda long to start up and sometimes it shuts down. Today i started it up and it shuts down 3 times when i was at the light. One more thing I think it's running rich cuz there's a lot of poping sounds between shifts. No smoke only in the morning when i start it up. spark plugs are new , the timing was just set. Any suggestions please?
I was thinking of the cold start injector.

Cold start injector only works when coolant temp gets below, something like 52*. It only works during the cranking mode, not after the engine starts. If you crank it for more than 15 seconds, it shuts it off so you won't flood the engine with fuel.

The hard start, dying at idle, and possibly dying during driving, is possibly caused by the ECU temp sensor. The ECU needs the correct readings to adjust fuel mixture and timing.

Check for any Codes. You can test the sensor's resistance values by following the TSRM proceedure. The sensors are not too expensive, and available at a parts house. :icon_bigg
