supras,
I just got my car running with maftpro, runs real good. Drove it for four days now have problems.
I turn key, nothing happens, if I keep key turned to on I blow the am1 fusible link that is 40amps.
I know my battery is good.
neutral safety switch tested for contonuity is good.
i can start the car by applying 12 volts to the brown connector on starter with the key on.
the brown connector is not getting any juice from turning key.
when this happened i discovered the battery cables werent tightened down after the maftpro install, so i tightened them and charged the battery assuming bad battery but now i have found this perplexing.
any input?
thanks
peter

I fixed the problem.
If anyone has similar issues let me know, I have figured out how to disable the alarm system and I have learned lots about the starting circuit.
In my case it ended up being the heavy gauge solenoid wire shorted on the block and then caused a short in the wire that has the brown terminal leading to the starter relay. I had to put in a new wire and re insulated the starter solenoid wire and it is now fixed so I can move on to funner things.
