starting issue

today went to the car to start and battery was dead, so i jumped it and started, all day its been fine the thing i found out when i went to start it this morning was the light in the trunk was on, wats werid is it never worked since i got it so i am thinking maybe this drained power if the trunk wasn't fully closed. all day its been fine since so i am hoping it starts tommorow
any toughts wat could,ve drained it also i have no radio installed so it ain't that

by the way new battery, starter had been all done two weeks ago so thats fine.

Even a small light bulb will kill the healthiest of batteries if you let it sit for a dozen or so hours. I think your problem was just the light.

Unfortunately once you fully discharge a battery like you did, it's only about 70% as strong as it used to be. Expect for it to not last all that long from here on, but new units are pretty cheap these days.
