Hey yall wats up? I'm about to get my hands on a good running jdm 7mgte motor. The guy said that i'm going to need a new starter for it though so I wanted to know if the starter for an 87-92 7mgte was the same so that this way i wouldn't have any problems finding one. thanks yall for the input.

aight thanks just checkin cuz when i went to auto zone.com, the part number for the 87-90 7mgte was the same for the starter but the 91-92 were different.

My 91 bolts through the trans from the back into the starter and uses threads in the starter. From what I have seen other years have a nut on the end on the starter side of the tranny.
