Sup Everyone
Question, I Went To Discount Auto Parts And For Some Odd Reason The Supra Starter 7mge And Cressida Starter 7mge, Have A Price Difference Of About $20, Me Not Knowing Why The Diffrerence Is There I Order The Cressida 7mge Starter, Is There Any Main Difference In The Two Starters I Have A 88 Surpa, And I Ordered A 1990 Cressida Starter, Shouldnt Be Different Right?

yes there is a difference in 89+ and pre89 starters. the 89+ iirc has threaded holes and the pre doesnt. as for the difference in cressida ones... dunno

^^^ true. I ordered one, took a look, and it had no threads. Told them they ordered the wrong one, but the same problem happened when I got the second one. I checked to see if the started worked be connecting a jumper cable to the positive and neg. of the starter. Luckly enough the problem wasn't the started and I didn't need to put on a new one without threads. I should've done this is the first place

when u say threads? what threads are u talking about, the one for the bolts or the acutaly blades for the flywheel, because i already installed the one of the 1990 cressida, and in installed perfectly fine, but ima crank it later today if i get the ecu!!!
