Ok iv been looking around and I would like to know how good are cp pistons along with eagle rods? Those with good bearings can my bottom end hold 500 hp?

one of the few bearings that can hold 1000+ horse in a 7m
carmsbody;1656056 said:which engine... the stock 2j bottom end can handle that power fairly reliably
suprarich;1656602 said:ahh, typo, gets you every time.
To the OP - With CP pistons, eagle rods, and good bearings installed, any failure would not be the fault of those three items for 500 hp.

JStoked;1656753 said:O crap ok I'll shy away from them. How about king rod bearings?
laotionracer101;1656780 said:acl, king, are rated better, I will be using either or for the 7m and 2j rebuild coming up, it might be a good idea to get both to test.

either those or clevites and some ARP rod bolts
i wouldn't put anything else in a supra.
For a set of cp pistons and eagle rods.suprarich;1657937 said:Federals are a good bearing, kings are not and have been proven not to be in a 7m. Federals are sometimes used by Clevite for very odd sizes, as NDC is used by clevite for nearly all STD and many -.25mm now. Just stick to OEM bearings or Clevite/NDC, there is no reason to use anything else.
1300 for a set of what?
