stalling!!!

:1zhelp: i just installed the hks ssqv bov. now my car is not running right. after i accelerate and then put the cluch in to slow down or put it into nutreal the car dies. the rpm drops right to zero and it stalls out. any suggestions. that vacume line i took out and capped, is that the prob becasue it had the little metal thing on it which was attached to the vacume i put to the bov. i dont no ill take pics or something and you understand what im talking about. its like it is starving for air. i have the stock air filter on it still because im waiting on an adaptor for the mass air to put my cone on.:1zhelp:

this happens because metered air is being blow off to atmosphere which causes the engine to run to rich and die....if you dont put the clutch in right away or give it a little gas before it dies it will stop.

or you can buy the recirculation fitting for it

attaches the the end of the bov and recirculates into the accordian like stock bov....probobly like 12 bucks...

another choice is to leave the stocker bypass valve in place...lots of guys do that

can u show me a pic of how its done?

ddid your bov come with the piping kit? if so then you should just be able to leave the stock the way it was....T off a vacuum source...and hook both of them up.

ya but i dont thing the stock hose will fit because of where the bov is but ill look tommorow

Is the vacuum line going to the BOV connected?...Because that's kinda important...
