When I come to a stop from a long drive. Sometimes I stall, and when you take off hard from a stop and then when you get to 3rd gear drop to neutral and stop. it reminds me of a carburetor flooding? (i know we don’t have carbs I’m just trying to explain how it feels) It starts right back up and sometimes I can catch it and give a touch of gas and it does not stall. Its almost like the idle changes, and is too low? However sometimes it is fine and idles at arround 700rpm (safc-ii number) sometimes I see it at 900 sometimes as low as 600? What could do this? I know you will ask me for codes so the only codes that I have (thanks to idealsupra for checking them) have to do with the prev owner putting in a start button.

I have the walbro fuel pump but no fuel pressure regulator. Should I get one?

Thanks all!

A wideband is next on my list. Should have one by this weekend. I did have it tuned at a dyno shop. They setup the SAFC-II.

Well thats one issue u are having. The air that was supposed to enter the engine to make your fuel ratio correct is not there when it vents ..... which causes you to run rich when you left of the throttle

Ok. so I need to "fix" that. I understand why people do it. they like the sound. I personally dont care, I would rather it run correctly then make a noise and stall. Can you tell me how to fix that

Do you remember how the stock BOV was connected ? It had a nipple that was connected to a vac hose that connected to a hard pipe located infront of the 3000 pipe ..... Just do the samething i dont mind the stalling i just tap the gas pedal and i became used to it ..... but it will do until i go with MAFT-Pro:love:
