I bought the car from a woman, who kept it in decent shape and didn't drive it much, but she REALLY had a bad taste for some things.

Here's the first day!

Now I started out doing maintenance stuff, such as plugs, wires, oil, coolant burp, and searching the threads for a good healthy tune-up.

After that I started on some of the performance. Cleaning the throttle body and re-calibrating the TPS really improved throttle response

Knowing that you can't get reliable power out of the GE series motor, I decided to stick to mostly a clean, stock and mildly tuned Supra.

So here's a few things I did

1.I changed the dash lights to blue (Sorry, pics up later)
2. A 89+ Taillight conversion

3. Installed a Cd/mp3 player in dash

4. TEMS Locking mod switch in coin holder (Pics up later)
5. Re-Installed the stock gauges

6. Polished the Valve covers and Y-pipe

7. Painted the MAF Gloss high heat black with high heat clear (Pics later too)

8. Here's the look as of 1-1-08, Good way to start the year right?

New Front strut (Thanks to Jay (Suprahero))

9. And new 17's (I still need new tires (Thanks to jay haha))

Lookin' good overall... Try and get some sealer on those polished peices otherwise your going to have to be doing it all over again! That's why I decided to flat black most of my stuff, powder coat it or ceramic coat it... Less maintanence, and a clean look.

otherwise, good job man!

Thanks everyone, I'm just getting around to posting now because I'm in Alabama with Jay (SupraHero) for a couple days polishing most of his 1jz parts. You all are going to love the parts. I mean MIRROR, the polish on my 7m is nowhere near what we have done to his.

I took a ride in his car before we took it apart.

HOLLLLYY SHHH**TTT

I nearly wet myself :D

OH, yeah polishing these parts is a secret for those of you reading this. I'm not going to post about it until we get it back together and have some pictures to share. Shhhhh!!!!

It was fun giving Matt a ride in my car. I could tell he doesn't get to boost very often.

Matt - looks like you like a clean supra almost as much as me. Hope it's not to shiney:3d_frown: I know what you mean about Mr. Leadfoot/his car is lots of fun.

Jay - I find it hard to believe you working on something topsecret...tx2k8 is coming!!!

Scott - NA is okay till you ride in Jay's then you realize what potential these cars have.
