My car is in the shop getting the mhg installed and new valve seals so my brother asked if he could use my ssqv hks bov kit in his supra. why the sound of the bov changed ? I can't not heard the psss sound I checked all the conections and it's set to the atmosphere. The sounds is different now.

is he boosting the same psi you were. also is his set up the same. every car is different so its not un common for cars to run differently witht he same BOV. it might infact just need to be adjusted to your brothers setup. what are his ic pipes like? if they are stock and cracked or leaking it could result in a wekaer sound. jsut some ideas im not sure about the setups. it may need to be adjsuted because its either too easy to blow off or too hard to.
It's not the first time that I put the ssqv bov kit on his supra. I put the setup a week ago and it sounded ok now it sounds different.My borther's car is 87 turbo 5 speed as well with stock ic pipes, 3' exhaust no dp yet and hks filter no boost control. The car is boosting 8psi and mine is about the same without the boost control. Mine has the 3' dp though but His car feels faster than mine.
