I slapped on some coilovers the other day...the car hasnt been driven for about two months as ive been driving the beater through all that time....

it was gorgeous out so i had to take the top off and cruise so i decided to throw on the coilovers. im waiting on some spanner wrenches that i ordered to make final fine tuning adjustments on the height...but they are pretty close to where i want them as it sits....

just one pic...took it about 30 minutes ago ..... cause i was bored.... the car is FILTHY so no one point that out lol...

i think ill be cleaning her up and taking a few day time pics(with the front wheel turned in...i was too lazy to get my keys and turn the wheel ;) ) for a better idea and ill post them tomorrow ;)

just a friendly reminder of the 4x4 offroading vehicle i have owned for the past 4 years...

lifesnotfair: Search! There's a few writeups done. Two I can think of off the top of my head on this forum alone...

IdealSupra: Looks amazing! Much better. At first glance I thought the first picture was the pic with coilovers, and I was a bit unimpressed.. haha. But now, much nicer!

Ditto on what kind of coilovers they are.
Also, what are those wheels?

Car looks great with the drop the coilovers gave it, but I got to ask, what's up with the moldings?

thanks for the comments guys...

coilovers are cusco comp S's, wheels are sparco NT's (discontinued model)

as for the trim since a few people have asked....and jeff asked on SF.... ill just copy and paste what i wrote there....

heh....the moulding adventures ive had....

originally i had the grey style trim you see in the second pic..... i was supposed to have that painted pearl white to match my car...but the guy who did it completely fucked up the moulding and the paint .... first he cut the ends of the little strips on each piece and pulled the strips off...then he painted the mouldings by themselves....and ran outta paint....i gave him money for more but he cheaped out and tried to mix his own to match...needless to say it didnt....and he painted all the strips with that mismatched color. then he didnt reapply the strips and they all curled up. when i got them back i had to put the strips back on and in the process the paint wrinkled and cracked in some spots...and the strips didnt match the moulding itself...not to mention the big holes where he cut the ends of them so he could pull them off...in the pictures you really cant tell but in person it looks like absolute shit so i couldnt stand them anymore.

you can kinda see one of the holes on the front of the door moulding piece on that first picture. so i got my hands on another set of good grey trim and put it back on. a few days ago i bought a full set of the basically black jdm trim with no rear sidemarker holes etc..... so that will be going on so it matches the center taillight section from my jdm tails ..... then in a bit when i touch up spots on my car that need it ill have the mouldings paint again to match and hopefully this time it will be done properly.

hey...you asked ;)

well i got my jdm moulding in today...so i slapped that on real quick...overall im happy with the look (will be completely happy when they are painted to match) but the no rear sidemarkers and the bubble markers up front give the car a little bit of a nice touch....

the car is STILL FILTHY im taking care of that in about an hour....

but heres a couple of day shots with the wheel straight ;)

and a comparison pic first:

how do you lower the car? you have to take the weels off and jack the car up and then turn each coilover or?
