i was just wondering if anybody in here is running cut springs??

i want to lower my car...but im not working right now so moneys tight and cant really afford coil overs.

i do have tokico blue struts so im pretty sure they could handle the cut springs

how much should i cut?

or should i even do it at all?

(looking to lower about an inch)

Just hold on to that idea and 4 get about it. Yeah the stock suspension sucks, but cut springs suck balls. You are going to spend time on something that wont do crap to your car; well expt for making it bounce like alot of the the ghetto ass hondas you see and it won't change the way your car handles. I went to the local drift spot, man. i drove a supra with cut springs i was bouncing all over the place, bottom out hard i was scrapping more that anything. it will throw off alot of things like the alignment, camber,toe...so on)

If you already have the struts I would just go ahead and get some springs.

Keep in mind than any time you lower the car it will throw off the alignment. If you haven't had an alignment lately, your bushings/bolts are probably seized. If they are seized, you will be unable to get your car aligned. This will cause excessive tire wear. Also, getting the bushings fixed is either VERY expensive or a MASSIVE pain in the ass.
